The Safe States Alliance is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and professional association whose mission is to strengthen the practice of injury and violence prevention. Thank you for your interest in applying to participate in the 2026 Injury-Free Academy focused on Using a Shared Risk and Protective Factors Approach to Prevent Multiple Forms of Violence.
The Academy is geared toward working with teams of 3-5 individuals representing diverse community sectors, interests, and populations. If you are interested in submitting an application, yet do not have a team of at least three individuals, contact us for assistance in identifying potential team members. Please send completed materials to Latoya Bates at lbates@safermaryland.org.
